4th June 2022: Platinum Jubilee Street Party

The late Queen's platinum jubilee provided the perfect opportunity to hold a community party in June 2022.

Set up in the closed off cul-de-sac end of Penn Road beside the Gardens, it meant we were not bound by the red tape and form filling that an event in the Gardens requires, as it is council property.

It was a great afternoon and brought many neighbours together who had not met due to the pandemic, alongside old friends and neighbours.
