Cycleway 50 Scheme Details Announced Affecting Penn Rd

The council has begun an engagement period with residents affected by the Cycleway 50 scheme section from Nag's Head to York Way, including Penn Road. The engagement period enables local residents to provide feedback on the plans before designs are finalised, and ends on 11th June 2023.

Cycleway 50 is a scheme introduced by TfL to connect Camden to Finsbury Park for cyclists. More information is available here.

Islington Council is responsible for the parts of the route which run up Penn Road and Hungerford Road. Details of these changes can be found here.

Residents are encouraged to engage with the PRRA discussion to ensure their views are represented, as well as directly with the council feedback survey.
